Warm again

The weather is good again. Up to 29 c daytime for the past days, though today a little windy. But the sky is blue and the sun is shining. Tomorrow we will probably go down to the beach for this springs first. Only 18 c in the water though, will see how many of us make it into the waves...
Long weekend this weekend - and we are taking it slow and relaxing. Off to a jazz festival with a friend from London tonight.
Springbreak started for the kids on Friday - lasts for two weeks. Jessica is away on camp with the aircadets and will be back Tuesday.

Brrr

Its amazing how cold it can feel suddenly. Here we were longing for the spring to get a move on., and the first couple of days were good. Sunny and nice. But today, when I was hoping to go for a walk in Manly, it is windy, not too warm and rainy. Wondering what to do with our day, the mall or IKEA? Probably should stay home, or at least near home, will see what we decide to do. A coffee in the mall, indoors, sounds like a good bet.

Otherwise, Oliver is a little wild thing at the moment, still not eating well, but full of energy.

Feeling better!

After a long weekend - Friday turned out to be a Public Holiday due APEC meeting in town - and very miserable weather - it is now back to normal routines again. The sun came back yesterday - but still some chilly southerly winds.
Hoping for some better weather for the weekend.

Just getting over the fact that I am currently not employed and will not be flying again as crew in the foreseeable future... and it is a little sad - but then again - it would have been harder to commute to London for work one month on one month off....and with the standby travelling down here and back - would probably have been a nightmare. And I would rather keep my family intact.

New life!?

Well - after 19 years with BA - I have now left. Gone on a Career Break - but it means termination. Feels very strange, I been through lots with the Company and currently I miss some of it - especially the flying.
But ending something also means starting again - fresh (well as fresh as I can get...). I have some plans on what to do with myself to start making money - but currently I am enoying being at home with Oliver.
And I must say, being at home when living in this wonderful place isnt bad at all. The only thing missing are family and friends up in Europe. But hopefully we will be able to come and see them often - and fly with proper booked tickets...and we hope we will have people come and visit us.

Hi,
This time I will try to keep this blog up to date better. I have added it to Face book as I miss somewhere to write little things about what is happening with me and my life.

It will probably be a mixture of English and Swedish, depending on my mood on the day,
